What are we doing?
We are changing the way that all of us look at dressing.
Because every overstuffed wardrobe is actually future textile waste.
We return beautiful pieces back into the cycle so that our customers by purchasing them, can save our planet's limited resources .
The gain supports 6 Czech non-profit organizations.
We keep clothes in the cycle to make fashion sustainable and beneficial
The idea of establishing Moment was born from a combination of the need to meaningfully and freely finance the non-profit sector and the idea of English charity shops - a community where people routinely donate their surpluses to to support the others.
Influenced by this idea, Richard Gazda, founded the Žebřík day care center for adults in 2010 and subsequently a charity shop to support its operation.
Gradually, Moment has been born - the idea of a non-profit organization that will collect clothes, sell it and the profit will support other non-profit organizations.
And so it happened.

Sale is the only source of income. We are economically self-sufficient and do not receive any subsidies.
Our costs consist mostly of salaries and rents.
Thank you for donating only salable clothing. Such a donation does not increase our costs for sorting and disposing of textiles and garments.
Our sales cover operating costs on the first place. The rest we transfer to 6 beneficial projects.

Our history
In the 10 years of Moment operation, we have experienced a lot. We opened a total of 12 stores. of which we have only seven now.
We were hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
We have supported 7 non-profits and employed over 200 people in our whole history.
Our vision of supporting non-profits extended to a new topic - sustainability in clothing.
