I’m Markéta,

a mother of two daughters, Director of Moment, and co-founder of the Moment Foundation.

I’m an idealist with corporate experience and both feet on the ground – someone who believes social change is possible.I truly believe that while each of us can “only do a little,” when we combine our efforts, it becomes something powerful.

At Moment, I’m responsible for leading the organization and our team. I try to foster a work culture where we feel good, and where our values have room to thrive.

My journey toward sustainable fashion began thanks to a former university classmate from VŠE.I’ve always loved fashion – but I could also feel that we were living in an unhealthy kind of abundance that was quietly wearing us down.That’s when a fire lit inside me – and it led to co-founding Moment.

I believe that as more and more people join what we’ve started at Moment and what we continue to build, caring for others – and for the planet – will become a normal part of life.

Donating your surplus will just feel natural.Supporting the non-profit sector will become more accessible and easier to understand.And I can’t wait for the day when most of us realize that making fashion circular is not only impactful – but fun, too.
